In August of 2011, our very own Todd Jones traveled to Iceland to explore the art of DSLR photography. While video and time-lapse were the motivation for taking the trip to the ends of the earth, the excursion quickly became a study in Icelandic culture and geography. Sweeping lichen-covered lava fields and geothermal steam vents, glacier topped mountain ranges, and deep canyon-like fjords of the northwest, all served as a breathtaking backdrop to the friendly people and culture of Iceland.
